Application Process for Support Workers

Step1 :
Prepare Your Application
Before applying, ensure you have the following documents ready: Updated CV/Resume Include your contact information, relevant work experience, education, skills, and certifications. Highlight any experience in care, health, or social work, even if it’s voluntary. Cover Letter (optional but recommended) A brief letter explaining why you’re interested in becoming a Support Worker and what makes you a good fit for the role.
Step 2:
Submit Your Application
Submit your CV and any supporting documents via one of the following methods: Online: Visit our careers page and upload your documents through the online application form. Email: Send your CV and cover letter to [[email protected]]. Please include “Support Worker Application” in the subject line. In Person: Drop off your application at our office during business hours.
Step 3:
Screening and Shortlisting
Our recruitment team will review your application to ensure you meet the essential requirements for the role. If your application is shortlisted, you will be contacted for the next step.
Step 4:
Initial Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview, which may be conducted in person or online. During the interview, you’ll be asked about your experience, skills, and motivations for working in the care sector. Be prepared to discuss scenarios where you’ve demonstrated empathy, problem-solving, or teamwork.
Step 5:
Reference Checks
Provide at least two references, preferably from previous employers, supervisors, or someone who can verify your experience in a similar role.
Step 6:
Enhanced DBS Check
As a regulated position, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required. We will guide you through this process if you’re successful in the interview.
Step 7:
Training and Onboarding
If your application is successful, you’ll receive an offer of employment. You’ll participate in an induction program that includes mandatory training, such as: Safeguarding Adults Health and safety First aid at Work Basic Life Support Manual Handling The Care Certificate (if applicable)
